The short version: $69 buys a perpetual licence for two Macs with one year of updates included. Try everything free for 14 days first. If you buy and it isn't working out within 14 days, email us and you get your money back. The app you bought keeps working forever — offline, no strings.

The licence

One purchase licenses you to run FeatherDB on up to two Macs you own or control. Seats are counted at activation; deactivating a machine from within the app frees its seat for another.
The licence is perpetual: every version released during your update period keeps working forever, verified offline on your Mac. There is no subscription and no kill switch.
One year of updates is included from the day of purchase. After that the app keeps working exactly as it is; renewing (US$29/year) is optional and only buys continued updates.
The licence covers use by one person (or one seat within a team). It does not permit redistributing the app, sharing licence keys or certificates, or reselling activation.

Trial

The 14-day trial is the full product — every feature, no account, no card. When it ends, the app asks for a licence; nothing you created locally is touched.

Payment and refunds

Checkout is operated by Polar, the merchant of record — the legal seller of record for your purchase. Your receipt, invoice, and any VAT handling come from Polar.
Refunds: if FeatherDB isn't working out, email [email protected] (or reply to your receipt) within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you in full, no questions asked. A refund ends the licence: refunded orders can no longer activate machines.

Your data

What we do and do not collect is in the privacy policy. The one-paragraph version: your databases stay on your Mac, and we only ever hold your order details and activation records.

Warranty and liability

FeatherDB is provided as is. We work hard to make it safe and correct — its guardrails are the whole point of the product — but we cannot promise it is free of defects, and you are responsible for your own backups and for reviewing changes before applying them to production systems. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim connected to FeatherDB is limited to the amount you paid for your licence.

Changes and contact

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with it; the terms in force when you bought remain the ones that govern your purchase. Questions: [email protected].
